Take 3 fingers and lightly drum them on your arm. That's what it feels like when you first notice your baby kicking. But that only lasts a couple of days. After that, it's pretty unmistakable. More like being tapped with a mallet and then jabbed with a knuckle. The baby is only 6 inches long. I'm not sure how it packs such a punch. Michael has even felt it.
Yay for baby kicks!!
Ultrasound next week!!!

Lucky you. I haven't felt anything yet. In fact, I was a little nervous for my ultrasound, hoping it was moving. It was. And it's a girl. Can't wait to hear what you are having.

Tawnie, my doc said taht if my placenta was in front, i wouldn't feel the baby as soon. or if my baby wasn't as active. Still normal. I can't wait to hear what i'm having, too.
You are right where I was a year ago! Congrats! So exciting! Is your family taking guesses?
Congratulations! i didn't know you were expecting again! That is so great. Adam is 7 months already. Time flies.
I love baby kicks. I even feel them sometimes. Except it is gas, not a baby.
Of course, that is a relief at this stage of my life!
CONGRATS!!!! I'm so happy for you!!
Congrats Lorinda! Why do babies at this stage of the game seem even more amazing than the first ones? HOpe you have perfect pregnancy
Michelle
I'll be anxiously awaiting the ultrasound news!!! When I was pregnant with Ethan I could feel contractions before I could even feel him! It was the weirdest sensation ever to feel contractions in such a tiny uterus!
